In this role, you will work closely with experienced professionals while gaining broad exposure, hands-on experience, and meaningful responsibility early in your career.
This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys solving diverse challenges in both field and office settings.
Due to the structure of our team, you'll take on a wide range of responsibilities and regularly shift between tasks.

Conduct fieldwork including soil, groundwater, surface water, and vapor sampling to support site investigations and remediation projects
Perform Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, including building material inspections and sampling
Support and help oversee remediation activities, including coordinating monitoring and compliance testing
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot field equipment to ensure accurate and reliable data collection
Accurately document field activities and review data and test results for quality and completeness
Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet project goals, schedules, and deliverables
Support environmental permitting and regulatory compliance efforts alongside senior staff

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Civil Engineering, or a related field
0-2 years of experience in environmental consulting
Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Working knowledge of environmental regulatory compliance and reporting processes
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot field equipment issues
Experience with environmental field data collection, site investigations, or remediation oversight
Familiarity with Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments and environmental regulations (MPCA, WDNR, EPA)
Experience with soil, groundwater, or vapor intrusion concepts and sampling techniques
Experience using field instruments, GPS, or environmental monitoring equipment
Strong attention to detail with effective problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel to project sites, including use of a personal vehicle as needed
Ability to perform physical fieldwork, including frequently lifting up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting over 50 pounds
OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification or willingness to obtain certification
