About the role

  • The Operations Manager - Electrical Construction serves as a strategic operational leader supporting the Division Manager in overseeing daily field operations, workforce planning, project coordination, safety initiatives, and team performance.
  • This position helps ensure projects are completed:

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support electrical construction field operations across multiple job sites
  • Ensure projects maintain safety, quality, schedule, and productivity goals
  • Support project teams with operational resources and problem-solving
  • Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to improve execution
  • Help drive process improvements and operational consistency
  • Support company HR policies, employee engagement, and performance initiatives
  • Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project success
  • Support customer satisfaction and long-term relationship development
  • Support implementation of safety initiatives and best practices

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in construction, electrical construction, or engineering
  • 3+ years of leadership or operations management experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Wear required PPE

  • The role includes extensive collaboration with Project Managers, Superintendents, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and executive leadership.
  • Training & Travel
  • Ace Electric provides a structured 90-day onboarding and leadership training program that includes travel to:
  • Following training, the role will primarily operate from the Kennesaw/Atlanta division office.

  • Coordinate workforce planning and staffing needs

Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical plans
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proven leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making ability
  • Valid driver's license with no DUIs
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Ability to work in both office and field environments
