- This position will be responsible for providing operation oversight for the Material Recycling Facility and related projects.
Responsibilities
- Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for an Operations Manager, Senior Operations Manager, Lead Operations Manager, or Senior Lead Operations Manager at the Montgomery County Material Recycling Facility in Derwood, Maryland.
Requirements
- Operations Manager: 5 years of applicable experience and 2 years of supervisory experience in field operations, recycling, solid waste, or construction activities (directly or indirectly).
- OR 8 years of progressively responsive experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment or working in field operations applicable to the hiring facility.
- Accredited vocational school with a major in a related field for up to 2 years' experience or 3 years' experience with an applicable college degree.
- Senior Operations Manager: 7 years of applicable experience and 4 years of supervisory experience in field operations, recycling, solid waste, or construction activities (directly or indirectly).
- OR 10 years of progressively responsive experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment or working in field operations applicable to the hiring facility.
- OR 12 years of progressively responsive experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment applicable or working in field operations to the hiring facility.
- Accredited vocational school with a major in a related field may be substituted for up to 2 years' experience, or 3 years' experience with an applicable college degree.
- A valid driver's license with less than 5 points is required for all position levels.
- Any offer of employment will be contingent upon successfully completing required pre-employment screens, to include full background check, drug & alcohol screening, and position appropriate physical.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

- $66,681.04 - $122,363.14
