Responsibilities

  • Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
  • Implement least-privilege access, network segmentation, encryption, and defense-in-depth security principles.
  • Infrastructure Automation & DevOps Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using: Terraform Bicep ARM Templates Ansible (or equivalent) Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
  • Implement identity management, secrets management, encryption, audit logging, and governance controls.
  • Partner with Cybersecurity teams to implement secure cloud architecture aligned with organizational policies.
  • Support compliance initiatives including: GxP 21 CFR Part 11 HIPAA SOX (where applicable) Operations & Optimization Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, reliability, and cost.
  • Drive FinOps initiatives through resource optimization and cost management.
  • Develop cloud standards, reusable templates, and platform best practices to improve developer experience.

Requirements

  • Experience 3+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience in an enterprise production environment.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure.

Nice to have

  • Deep expertise in designing and operating Azure cloud infrastructure.

Skills

  • FinOps and enterprise cloud cost optimization experience.
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code mindset with Terraform or equivalent tools.
  • Passion for automation and DevOps best practices.
  • Security-first engineering approach with compliance built into every solution.
  • Experience balancing cloud performance with cost optimization.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.

  • Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Azure Certifications, including:
  • Monitoring and observability platforms such as:
  • Azure Monitor Application Insights
