Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor site personnel, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to safety standards.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety analyses and ensure proper use of PPE, and lead emergency response efforts.
  • Perform and oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of PV systems, inverters, battery storage, substations, and balance-of-plant equipment.
  • Support commissioning, testing, installations, and performance optimization of solar and storage systems.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in solar, renewable energy, or a related electrical/mechanical field, with demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Experience with high-voltage electrical equipment and mechanical systems, including knowledge of electrical theory, power electronics, substation equipment, and control systems.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
  • Proficient with hand and power tools, electrical test equipment, and capable of reading schematics, one-line, and wiring diagrams
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and operational software systems.
  • Willingness to travel and work overtime, night shifts, and rotating schedules as needed.

Nice to have

  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred), a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a U.S. passport.

Skills

  • All technicians are provided with the necessary tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) to work safely and efficiently.
  • GWO (Global Wind Organization) training and certifications to ensure compliance with international safety standards.

Compensation

  • $42-$48/hour (based on experience, education, and skillset) plus on-call pay.
  • 5% Annual Performance Bonus (based on individual performance and company metrics) and 5% Availability Bonus.
