Responsibilities
- Roadmap Definition & Execution: Own the end-to-end technology roadmap, including prioritization, resource allocation, and timely delivery of features and platforms that enhance the advisor and client experience.
- Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies for responsive and scalable solutions.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing global technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Specifically, lead the development and integration of AI-powered experiences to enhance financial planning and advisory services.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate extensively with senior business leaders, product managers, operations, risk, compliance, and other technology partners to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure successful delivery.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with third-party vendors and strategic partners to leverage external capabilities and accelerate development, especially in areas of AI and specialized financial technology.
- Client & Advisor Experience: Champion a client-centric and advisor-centric approach, ensuring that technology solutions meet user needs, improve efficiency, and drive adoption, with a focus on intuitive interfaces built with modern web technologies.
- Budget Management: Manage the technology budget for digital advisory and financial planning, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and demonstrable ROI.
- Demonstrable track record of building and scaling innovative digital products and platforms from conception to launch, including those powered by Artificial Intelligence.
- AI/ML: Designing, implementing, and integrating AI/ML models to create intelligent user experiences in financial applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 15+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with at least 8+ years focused on digital advisory, financial planning, or wealth management technology.
- Proven experience leading large, complex technology programs and transformations in a global financial institution, with significant hands-on involvement in architectural decisions.
- Strong understanding of wealth management products, services, regulatory landscape, and the evolving digital advisory ecosystem.
- Extensive experience with modern architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures) and significant hands-on or leadership experience with key technologies including:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).
Nice to have
- Master's degree or MBA preferred.

- Deep analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities, especially in optimizing AI-driven features.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Compensation
- $170,000.00 - $300,000.00 In addition to salary, Citi's offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
