Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
  • Produces 3D Parts, Assemblies, and Layouts created in CAD, General Arrangement (GA) and Fabrication drawings, Bills of Materials, and prototype designs to support customer requirements, using AutoDesk Inventor for modeling and drafting.
  • Makes necessary corrections to existing drawings following quality review process Determines appropriate methods to create drawings using either a CAD template customized to the client's requirements, a standard template designed for the specific type of work, or by updating an existing CAD file.
  • The Design Drafter III is responsible for developing product designs and fabrication drawings packages.
  • This position will design thermal oxidizers manufactured by our Company and other companies.

Requirements

  • An associate degree in Drafting or CAD Technology with 3-5 years of experience
  • Working proficiency with AutoDesk Inventor is required.
  • The work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications, or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods.
  • Visits to our manufacturing facility and suppliers' facilities is required to monitor active projects and address design issues.
  • Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
