Responsibilities
- Perform the following functions:
- Design of HVAC and plumbing systems
- Manage and design multiple concurrent projects
- Lead design team efforts
- Manage project team for budget and schedule control
- Develop fee and qualification-based proposals
- Familiarity with relevant codes: mechanical, energy, plumbing and ensure design conforms with all applicable codes and client standards
- Perform HVAC calculations and analysis using standard industry programs
- Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Desire to lead inter-disciplinary projects and project teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (B.S) in Mechanical engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Mechanical Engineering (required)
- 10 to 15 years of experience
- Experience with Load Calculation Software
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit

- Multidiscipline engineering services plus corrosion control, commissioning and project/construction management
- 70+ employees in 9 offices, providing Fire Protection services since 2014

- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint software preferred.
- Must understand database concepts.
- Working knowledge of marketing databases and proposal resources files.
- Candidates with experience in the local AEC consulting market are preferred, given the value of regional codes, client familiarity, and project context.
