About the role
- Cowboy Space is looking for a Mission Manager.
- Our Mission Manager will serve as the mission specialists, driving results and challenging the status quo.

Responsibilities
- Drive program execution by managing schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables
- Drive mission execution across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between engineering, operations, leadership, and external stakeholders
- Lead problem-solving efforts by identifying risks, gathering the right stakeholders, driving decision-making, and ensuring timely resolution of complex technical and operational challenges
- Build and manage integrated mission schedules, resource plans, priorities, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery against major milestones
- Coordinate personnel and cross-functional contributors across multiple workstreams to maintain execution velocity in a fast-paced environment
- Cowboy Space Corp. is building the infrastructure to power and connect the orbital economy.
- We're moving quickly to solve complex technical challenges and build a new category of space infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience.
- 5+ years of technical project management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to drive complex programs from inception through delivery with a high degree of ownership and accountability
- Proven track record of creative problem solving and operating effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
Nice to have
- Experience leading a team is a plus
