Responsibilities

  • Platform Architecture: Build and operate multi-region AKS platforms for high-availability, consumer-facing workloads
  • Infrastructure as Code: Develop and maintain Terraform modules for Azure (AKS, networking, App Gateway, API Management)
  • Kubernetes: Own AKS lifecycle (scaling, upgrades, networking, security, platform standards)
  • CI/CD & GitOps: Implement GitHub Actions pipelines and FluxCD-based deployments
  • Web Delivery: Optimize Front Door, CDN, ingress, WAF, and traffic routing for performance and resilience
  • Reliability: Define SLOs, improve observability, and lead incident response and root cause analysis
  • Platform as a Product: Build and manage the platform as an internal product, focused on developer adoption, business growth, self-service capabilities, and measurable business outcomes
  • Build and operate multi-region AKS platforms for high-availability, consumer-facing workloads
  • Develop and maintain Terraform modules for Azure (AKS, networking, App Gateway, API Management)
  • Own AKS lifecycle (scaling, upgrades, networking, security, platform standards)

Requirements

  • Experience with multi-region / multi-cluster architectures

Nice to have

  • 5+ years in Platform Engineering / SRE / DevOps
  • Strong Azure expertise (AKS, networking, App Gateway / Front Door)
  • Deep Kubernetes experience
  • Hands-on Terraform (IaC) experience
  • Experience with GitHub + GitHub Actions
  • Experience with FluxCD or similar GitOps tools
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and high availability
  • Experience with high-traffic consumer platforms

Skills

  • Mentor engineers and define platform standards and roadmap.
  • Champion cloud technologies by leading learning sessions and outreach within the organization
  • Automate compliance, security standards, tagging, networking, and operational guardrails through Azure Policy, OPA, and similar frameworks
