About the role
- Expertise in electroplating metals and metallic alloys in aqueous solutions, pre-treatment, cleaning, pickling, Zn, phosphate, Ni/Cu, epoxy etc., and diagnosis and failure analysis of coatings.
- We need this person to assist in electroplating and corrosion-resistance plating processes on pilot and production lines at Noveon.
- These processes will be instrumental in properly applying corrosion-resistant coatings to Noveon products.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the plating engineer in developing wet processes, as well as related racking and testing procedures to produce high quality coatings and plating on magnet products.
- Working with senior engineers to run experiments and help implement improvements and modifications to the plating line.
- Knows how to use excel to create and populate production data.
Requirements
- Noveon Magnetics is looking for someone who has 3+ years of experience in surface finishing for direct manufacturing and commercialization.
- Has an Associate degree with 2+ years of work experience.
