About the role
- Summary The Scientist I conducts routine benchtop testing, compound identification, and method development (liquid chromatography).
- This level requires autonomy and collaborating closely with cross-departmental teams to ensure product compliance and innovation.
- Skills & Qualifications · Familiarity with Waters instrumentation and Empower3 software. · Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams. · General analytical skills. · Follow SOP and STM.
Responsibilities
- Oversee lab operations to maintain compliance and optimize research processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with regulatory, product management, marketing, and R&D teams.
Requirements
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- The employee is required to type, file, and occasionally lift office supplies up to 20 pounds.
- The employee must be physically able to tolerate the scent of essential oils worn or diffused.
Compensation
- Employees are also expected to work at least one non-convention farm event a year and to work at the annual company convention.
