Responsibilities
- Collaborate with department leaders to assess staffing needs, develop accurate and compelling job descriptions, and establish clear hiring criteria tailored to the transportation brokerage industry.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview processes with hiring managers to deliver a positive and efficient candidate experience.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to proactively meet current and future business needs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Manage the end-to-end hiring process, including offer negotiation, background screening, and onboarding, to ensure seamless integration of new team members.
- Maintain full compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), particularly Workday, along with experience using major job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- The physical demands outlined here are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this role.
- however, occasional filing tasks necessitate the ability to lift files, access filing cabinets, and bend or stoop as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of two (2) years of professional working experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.

- Physical Demands:

- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or similar HR certification preferred.
- Solid understanding of the transportation brokerage industry, including key roles and required competencies, is a significant plus.
