Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and grow a network of direct borrowers, brokers, and industry partners.
- Effectively collaborate with leadership on deal strategy, structuring, and execution to ensure best-in-class outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, ideally in finance, real estate, or a related field.
- 8-15 years of direct CRE experience with a focus on originations
- At any time, employees may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization and participate in additional trainings.
- Responsible for the origination of commercial loans via relationships with brokers and borrowers
- Develop and maintain origination network of direct borrowers and brokers nationwide
- Evaluate loan opportunities. Underwrite structure, negotiate loan documentation, syndications/hedging, and monitor closing processes
- Present transactions, risk assessments and recommendations to senior management and credit committee
- Manage team of Junior Originators and work closely with team of Underwriters/Analysts
