About the role
- As a Gensler Interior Designer with our team in Tampa, your job is to combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce functionally beautiful spaces for clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform interior design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation
- Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts
- Responsible for Construction Documentation and Construction Administration, supporting the delivery of the project design intent
- Work on multiple teams and support concurrent projects in varying phases of project delivery
- Manage external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators
- 4-8+ years of project-based commercial interior design experience - ideally in Workplace, Professional Services Firms, Financial Services Firms, or Headquarters

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited university
- Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
- Strong knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
- NCIDQ certified (if you are on the path to certification, please contact stephanie_contratto@gensler.com to determine whether there are other roles that may be of interest)
- Please include a portfolio (ideally showcasing your experience with the aforementioned project types) along with your resume.
- As a self-motivated designer with strong Revit skills, you can jump in and produce test fits and project deliverables

- Our annual base salary range has been established based on local markets.
