Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will design and execute research studies focused on swine nutrition, management practices, and the adoption of digital technologies within modern swine production systems.
  • The position will also contribute to the development and publication of scientific manuscripts, as well as support grant writing efforts and the preparation of external funding proposals.

Nice to have

  • Two or more years of research experience in animal sciences or a closely related field
  • Experience with experimental design, statistical analysis, and big data analysis
  • Proficiency with data analysis software (e.g., SAS, R)
  • Demonstrated record of peer-reviewed publications and effective research communication
  • Experience communicating complex information through written reports, presentations, and verbal briefings to diverse audiences.

  • We boast state-of-the-art research facilities in swine nutrition and ruminant nutrition and have teaching farms in the areas of swine, sheep, beef, poultry, dairy and equine.
