About the role

  • Job Description: The Project Manager plays a critical role in driving successful project outcomes by partnering closely with operational leaders to bring strategic initiatives to life.
  • This position is responsible for assembling and leading cross-functional project teams, ensuring all aspects of planning, execution, and delivery are aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • With a strong focus on collaboration and results, the Project Manager oversees project timelines, proactively identifies and mitigates risks, and effectively manages stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • This role requires expertise in project planning, resource coordination, and delivering high-impact results that support operational excellence and organizational success.

  • Engage stakeholders, facilitate communication, and manage expectations to ensure alignment and support for project success
  • Develops and rigorously manages comprehensive project plans including defined scope, objectives, schedule, milestones, deliverables, risks and issues.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated project management experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously is required.

Nice to have

  • 2+ years of project management experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including non-supervisory experience is preferred.
  • The Certified Project Management designation is preferred.
  • The degree must be from an accredited institution and will be verified.
  • Experience with project planning, developing timelines, risk management, stakeholder management, and project delivery is highly preferred.
  • Experience using formal project management methodologies or frameworks (e.g., PMI-based approaches, structured lifecycle models) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply standard project management practices with sound judgment across diverse and complex projects, adapting approach while maintaining disciplined execution is highly preferred.

Compensation

  • $42k-$66k

Benefits

  • Validates financial forecasts and expected benefits and reconciles resources and other project expenses, tracking actual value to expected results.
  • Leads formal project closeout activities, including validation of deliverables, stakeholder alignment, lessons learned capture, and project sign-off to ensure successful handoff and organizational learning.
  • Project Manager may be assigned to a specific service area and serve as domain-specific specialist to deliver projects that support Health System Optimization and Enterprise Shared Services priorities.
