About the role

  • Nuclear Turbine Maintenance Technician I or Nuclear Turbine Maintenance Technician II Summary A Nuclear Turbine Maintenance Technician is a competent, skilled mechanic in all aspects of nuclear plant mechanical maintenance.
  • Work activities include performing disassembly/reassembly of large steam turbines, electrical generators, and other plant equipment, as well as rigging and crane operation activities.
  • This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Working various shifts, extended hours, weekends, overtime, holidays, and be on-call to support plant needs

Requirements

  • Two-year technical school degree, or equivalent experience or training (e.g., military)
  • Prior experience in rigging and lifting
  • Demonstrated proficiency utilizing advanced computer skills
  • Demonstrated experience with, and support of, following safety processes administrative procedures and technical procedures
