About the role
- Nuclear Turbine Maintenance Technician I or Nuclear Turbine Maintenance Technician II Summary A Nuclear Turbine Maintenance Technician is a competent, skilled mechanic in all aspects of nuclear plant mechanical maintenance.
- Work activities include performing disassembly/reassembly of large steam turbines, electrical generators, and other plant equipment, as well as rigging and crane operation activities.
- This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Working various shifts, extended hours, weekends, overtime, holidays, and be on-call to support plant needs
Requirements
- Two-year technical school degree, or equivalent experience or training (e.g., military)
- Prior experience in rigging and lifting
- Demonstrated proficiency utilizing advanced computer skills
- Demonstrated experience with, and support of, following safety processes administrative procedures and technical procedures
