About the role
- This position requires a motivated, capable person with strong verbal and written communication skills including technical editing experience, and with computer aptitude.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate report drafts from multiple managers into single documents,
- Develop understanding of engineering terminology, project tasks, issues, and challenges,
- Develop project documentation templates, standards, and guides for engineering project documentation, and assist technical workforce in following,
- Assist engineering staff in developing and editing customer technical reports to satisfy deliverables as well technical papers for conferences,
- Provide technical editing to engineering project teams for presentations, design documents, software delivery schedules, user's guides, etc.,
- Interface with job interview candidates to arrange interviews and prepare interview agendas. Work with technical leads to coordinate interviews, feedback, and build candidate file,
- Manage calendars for multiple engineering calendars. Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings,
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident to facilitate access to USG facilities.
- Must have B.A. / B.S. with minimum of 3 years' experience.
- Must be able to work in the CACI office 8:00 am to 4:30 pm during regular workdays, Monday through Friday.
- Must have experience in technical editing and writing.
- Must be highly responsible, team-oriented individual with strong work ethic that is willing to do whatever the job requires in a dynamic environment.
- Must have well developed coordination and organization skills.
- Experience in NASA environment and / or supporting engineering projects.
- Experience with simultaneous support of multiple managers

- Fluent in Microsoft Office Applications, i.e., Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills mandatory.
- Positive, can-do attitude willing to take on any assignment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with little supervision.

Compensation
- There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

- The proposed salary range for this position is:
- $67,800 - 142,200 USD
