About the role
- As a Quantitative Consultant, you will apply your analytical mindset to solve complex, high-impact life insurance product questions that do not always fit a standard process.
- This role offers the opportunity to use Excel tools, models, and quantitative analysis to help agents and clients get accurate, timely answers.
Responsibilities
- You will support specialized service requests, production issues, exception reviews, manual calculations, product explanations, MEC testing/avoidance, complaint and litigation-related inquiries, and other complex policy scenarios.
- You will work closely with partners across Compliance, Legal, Internal Investigations, Customer Service, and Operations, and directly with Financial Advisors to understand the issue, evaluate options, and deliver clear, practical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or in lieu of a degree a HS diploma with 10 years of professional experience
- 5 years of experience working with excel
- 2+ years of experience working with tradVantage, adVantage, LifeComm, Product Engine, MPR, OPM or Haven Tech admin systems
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and on multiple assignments at once

Compensation
- $102,500-$134,500

- You will join a collaborative team of quantitative consultants who solve complex product questions, improve workflows, and develop tools and models that help the business work more effectively.
- You will bring strong attention to detail, clear communication, sound judgment, and a continuous improvement mindset to translate complex information into practical guidance for business partners, agents, and clients.
- Your work will help improve service quality, reduce friction in complex cases, strengthen partner support, and ensure accurate outcomes for high-impact life insurance product scenarios.
- As a Quantitative Consultant, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Provide internal and external service partners with the tools and knowledge to directly assist the agent and client more effectively.
- Work collaboratively with new business, in force service, underwriting, advanced sales and vendors to fully understand the client need requested through those business partners.
- Provide manual illustrations and product explanations to support new sales and in force policies.
- Support MEC testing/avoidance, client letters, spot pricing for underwriting concessions, complex policy inquiries and litigation, complaint and exception issues.
- Use excel tools and models for life products to handle production support and one-off manual calculations.
- Have the opportunity to play a part in helping to develop our relationship and responsibilities with Haven Tech as we build our test/validation process with them.
- The Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in life insurance
- The Ideal Qualifications
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and related tools used to analyze data, document findings, and support business partners.
- Existing relationships with business partners, ETX partners and vendors the product support team works with
- Strong Communication Skills - Written & Verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with business partners throughout the organization
