About the role

  • Our tightly integrated electronics pack a broad range of functions into a small package.
  • They will follow the system or complete subsystems through concept, architecture, prototyping, evaluation, and refinement stages.

Responsibilities

  • Own & drive the development of the electrical architecture, design, prototyping, and development of one or more hardware systems (MCU/SOC/FPGA, battery, sensing, RF, Audio).
  • Serve as a domain expert on one or more areas of electrical design, such as audio, DSP, battery, RF, or sensing.
  • Hands-on PCBA design and bring-up: component selection, schematic, layout, assembly, bring-up, test/debug, and integration into larger systems.
  • Identify, evaluate, engage, and drive partners and vendors to accelerate hardware development.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in designing and shipping compact, efficient battery-powered systems with RF connectivity and challenging industrial design constraints is ideal.

Requirements

  • Experience working independently in high-ambiguity environments.
  • 10+ years of experience owning and delivering complex EE designs.
  • 5+ years of experience leading & delivering complex projects encompassing computing, electrical systems, sensors, power, mechanical, and firmware.
  • Experience shipping and supporting a complex product including sensors, compute, HMI, and battery.

Nice to have

  • Deep experience with one of the following areas: battery, RF, capacitive touch, audio, or image sensors.
  • Experience in a startup or research organization.
