Responsibilities
- Launched in 2022 by Bloomberg Philanthropies, the campaign supports frontline communities and partners working to prevent new and expanded petrochemical projects, while advancing stronger protections for those living near existing facilities.
- Building on the success of Bloomberg's Beyond Coal and Beyond Carbon campaigns, Beyond Petrochemicals focuses on three core regions - Texas, Louisiana, and the Ohio River Valley - where most proposed expansion is concentrated.
- The campaign brings together grassroots organizing, strategic communications, research, and policy advocacy to drive long-term reductions in petrochemical production and related pollution.
- RLF delivers transformative outcomes for our planet and its people through trusted partnerships and creative campaigns.
Requirements
- Candidates must be located in Texas, with a strong preference for those based in the Houston area.
- Spanish language proficiency (professional or conversational), especially in community engagement settings.
- A bachelor's degree is welcome but not required; equivalent experience will be considered.
Compensation
- Starting salary range is $65,000, commensurate with experience.
