About the role
- Under general supervision, installs, services and repairs all components or sub-components of commercial and industrial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Mechanics at this level install, diagnose problems, and repair commercial and industrial heat pumps and centralized air conditioning systems up to 250 tons with multiple zone applications.
- Overtime, shift-differential and on-call pay (non-exempt positions only).

Requirements

- Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge of the principles of air conditioning and refrigeration
- General knowledge of OSHA regulations related to the refrigeration trade
