Responsibilities
- Find efficiencies by automating accounting and other business processes to make process improvements and utilising AI and developing further AI use cases.
- Builds process improvements, utilising AI and developing further AI use cases.
- You will continue to develop strong relationships through people management.
- Manage and lead the PGF Accounting Team with responsibility for recruitment, goal-setting, performance management, and identifying training and development needs.
- Prepare entity level financial statements and play a critical lead role in consolidated financial statements.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Lead on the design and implementation of integration activities and consolidation of multiple accounting systems.
- One Team mindset, excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external business partners
Requirements
- Master's degree in Accounting and a minimum of 8+ years of accounting experience OR Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of 10+ years of accounting experience
- CPA certification required
- High comfort level with accounting and ERP systems (prefer Workday and NetSuite experience) and AI tools, VBA macros etc.
- Experience leading a high performing team
- Must be able to demonstrate excellent mentorship and leadership skills
- High degree of organisation and efficiency with demonstrated attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Ad hoc finance and accounting project work as required.
Nice to have
- Experience working in Big 4/consulting audit functions preferred
- Mondays and Thursdays, plus one day selected by your organizational leader.
Compensation
- Own monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close processes for the PGF business for over 25 legal entities with a key lead role in the global consolidation and reporting process.
