Responsibilities

  • Find efficiencies by automating accounting and other business processes to make process improvements and utilising AI and developing further AI use cases.
  • Builds process improvements, utilising AI and developing further AI use cases.
  • You will continue to develop strong relationships through people management.
  • Manage and lead the PGF Accounting Team with responsibility for recruitment, goal-setting, performance management, and identifying training and development needs.
  • Prepare entity level financial statements and play a critical lead role in consolidated financial statements.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Lead on the design and implementation of integration activities and consolidation of multiple accounting systems.
  • One Team mindset, excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external business partners

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Accounting and a minimum of 8+ years of accounting experience OR Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of 10+ years of accounting experience
  • CPA certification required
  • High comfort level with accounting and ERP systems (prefer Workday and NetSuite experience) and AI tools, VBA macros etc.
  • Experience leading a high performing team
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent mentorship and leadership skills
  • High degree of organisation and efficiency with demonstrated attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Ad hoc finance and accounting project work as required.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in Big 4/consulting audit functions preferred
  • Mondays and Thursdays, plus one day selected by your organizational leader.

Compensation

  • Own monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close processes for the PGF business for over 25 legal entities with a key lead role in the global consolidation and reporting process.
