About the role

Scopely is seeking an experienced, pragmatic, and business-minded Counsel, Commercial to join our legal team in Culver City, California.
Please ensure that the résumé/CV you attach is written in English.

Serve as the lead attorney for a broad range of commercial matters supporting Scopely's business teams and initiatives, as well as various games in Scopely's portfolio.
Partner closely with IT, Product, Procurement, Finance, and Business Operations teams to structure deals that balance speed, risk, and business objectives
Contribute to the development of and utilize playbooks, templates, checklists, and drafting guidelines to drive efficiency, consistency, and predictable risk management
Partner with Legal Operations and global Legal teammates to test, adopt, and refine tools that scale legal support in a growing organization
Collaborate on matters involving in-game assets, IP partnerships, AI tool engagements, and consumer-facing features.

Law degree from an accredited institution and qualification to practice law in California

Experience in AdTech, Privacy, technology, gaming, digital media, or SaaS-driven businesses preferred
