About the role
- We are seeking a Senior Biosolids Engineer to join TYLin's Water Sector with a focus in biosolids treatment, handling, and/or dewatering.
- As a recognized resource in biosolids solutions, you will bring credible expertise to our biosolids portfolio.
- This is an opportunity for you to shape TYLin's biosolids capabilities and project portfolio to establish leadership in the biosolids practice area.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the design with review/input from the various municipal/utility/approval agencies/stakeholders and obtain all necessary approvals.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary design teams within TYLin to deliver solutions to our clients.
- Develop and manage project scope, budget, staffing and schedule.
- Prepare contract documents for construction (i.e. engineering drawings and specifications).
- Manage and lead team members while working on projects, complete tasks and delegate specific project tasks to other team members as appropriate.
- Develop technical standards and best practices for biosolids for the Water Sector.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering or other related field.
- P.E. licensure with ability to obtain reciprocity in multiple states.
- 10-15+ years of experience in the execution of wastewater infrastructure with a significant focus in biosolids treatment and handling projects.
- Proven knowledge and experience with the approval process, including design guidelines and standards (Local and Provincial).
