About the role
- This role focuses on equipment setup, preventive maintenance, and hands-on learning in troubleshooting and repair within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Prepare and configure machinery for scheduled production runs
- Assist with overhauls and repairs of production machinery
Responsibilities
- This is an opportunity to build hands-on technical skills in a manufacturing setting while working alongside experienced maintenance professionals.
- Set up and maintain production equipment to support efficient and high-quality manufacturing
- Learn through hands-on training to troubleshoot mechanical systems and provide immediate corrective support to production lines, conveyor systems, and related equipment
- Monitor and maintain proper fluid levels across equipment
- Support installation of new production equipment
- Maintain responsibility for food safety and product quality standards
- Step in to perform Maintenance Associate duties as needed
Requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to work in cold environments below 32°F for extended periods with proper protective equipment
- Ability to work in environments with noise levels above 85 decibels with proper protection
