About the role
- In this role you'll be responsible for onsite process improvement and cost savings initiatives within our warehouses.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new technologies, processes, and equipment that will enable our warehouses to support business growth.
- Manage large cross functional projects from ideation to implementation.
- Create and update engineering labor standards within our labor management system.
- Design layouts for facilities, equipment, inventory storage, workspaces, and material flows
- Create the technical specifications that define our equipment and facility standards, and warehouse automation concepts.
- Write the documents necessary to procure equipment and technical services such as scope of work, performance requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Support maintenance with automated equipment downtime resolution.
- Lead the implementation of lean warehousing programs, including methods such as waste elimination, 5S, value analysis, standard work, and material flow systems (pull systems, theory of constraints, etc).
- Ability to create AI tools to improve personal and team efficiency (Gems, GPTs, etc)
- Conduct technical research and create internal technical documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
- 5+ years of experience, primarily with implementing automated systems.
- You are proficient in AutoCad
- This position may require the ability to sit for extended periods of time, use a computer or other office equipment, and communicate effectively (verbal and written).
Nice to have
- Exposure to warehouse fulfillment environments
- Six sigma certification
- Proficient in Minitab
- Proficient with Takt LMS and Softeon WMS
- Experience with discrete-event simulation software (e.g., FlexSim, similar)

Compensation
- $96,000 - $128,000 USD
- This role will receive a competitive salary and benefits.
- The salary for US-based employees hired into this role will be aligned with the range below, which includes our three geographic areas.
