About the role

  • Ensures a consistent standard of excellence in hospitality, physical safety, and program operations.
  • Supervises and trains residential interns.
  • Provides timely reporting and recordkeeping according to TBM policy.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with all departments supporting (Facilities, Volunteer Services, Logistics, Sustain & Grow alumni program, etc.) to create a safe, caring, and trauma-informed environment that fosters relationship with God and others.
  • Complete security checks according to TBM policy and manage building/key access.
  • Lead or co-lead residential alumnae House Meetings and other groups/classes.
  • The Bowery Mission meets essential needs and creates transformative communities with men, women, children, and families in New York so that we can together overcome homelessness and poverty and flourish.
  • Oversees room preparation, building/key access, and the cleaning/maintenance responsibilities of the missional community.
  • Encourages/coaches residential alumnae to build upon their successes.
  • Lead or co-lead meetings including Missional Community gatherings, residential alumnae groups/classes, and staff meetings.
  • Hosts other visitors, special events, tours and leads tours.
  • Provides on-call support.

Requirements

  • 4+ years coordinating or supervising in a residential program or similar ministry or setting.
  • Proven experience in team leadership.

  • $70,000-$80,000

  • Ensure compliance with TBM's Health and Safety standards, including accurate recording of residential alumnae medications.
  • Provide onsite, on-call coverage four nights per week (11 PM - 7 AM), including some weekends, unless on PTO.
