Responsibilities

  • Assesses current business performance, identifies gaps, establishes and implements improvement plans, monitors progress, and facilitates/shares/acquires best-in-class ideas and processes in line with general CI procedures.
  • Identifies gaps in Best Business Practice Metrics, develops and executes improvement plans and strategies. Assesses the current state of plant operations.
  • Facilitates and drives improvement teams or works in cooperation with the OEX Manager to implement improvement plans. Assists process owners to identify barriers to project success.
  • Develop a data-analytics roadmap 4.0 that prepares further opportunities to move from pure data analytics to process predictions and the implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and traceability programs and other alfa / beta initiatives (i.e., HPT - High Performance Teams).
  • Recruits, hires, and retains operational staff. Prepares and delivers clear performance expectations, performance reviews and development plans for direct reports teaming with the appropriate matrix functional manager. Ensures a consistent level of coaching.
  • Identifies gaps in Best Business Practice Metrics, develops and executes improvement plans and strategies.
  • Facilitates and drives improvement teams or works in cooperation with the OEX Manager to implement improvement plans.

Requirements

  • Min. bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, related field of study or equivalent work.
