About the role
- Z Recyclers is seeking a skilled and motivated Equipment Maintenance Mechanic to join our team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing both light and heavy machinery, while also supporting special projects across our operations.
- This position is critical to ensuring our equipment runs efficiently, safely, and reliably.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on light and heavy equipment, including trucks, tractors, and trailers
- Collaborate with field service teams to resolve equipment issues at job sites
- Ability to plan, organize, and maintain accurate equipment records
Requirements
- 3-5 years of equipment maintenance experience
- 3+ years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience
- Strong understanding of preventative maintenance programs
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, and stoop for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
