About the role
- The position serves as a senior technical advisor and leader responsible for coordinating technical assistance, monitoring program performance, and supporting cross-functional collaboration across DHAPP.
- The range of this position in other geographic locations may differ.
Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of DHAPP operations.
- Coordinate and oversee technical support provided to assigned country programs.
- Coordinate with Country Support Teams, Strategic Information, Epidemiology, Operations, and other DHAPP branches to ensure integrated program support.
- Support implementation of country work plans and monitor progress toward program objectives.
- Support development of technical guidance documents, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Conduct domestic and international travel in support of country programs, technical assistance, site visits, assessments, and strategic engagements as required.
Nice to have
- Experience with PEPFAR-supported programs.
- Experience managing international technical assistance activities.
- PMP certification or equivalent program management experience is desirable.
- Security Requirements
- U.S. citizenship.
- Travel Requirements
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25 percent of the time.
- Working Conditions
Compensation
- $119,000 - $122,000 USD
- The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.
