About the role

Summary: The EPSU (Equipment Set-Up Preparation) Production Worker is responsible for setting up, operating, and preparing production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
The worker will follow safety standards, troubleshoot equipment issues, and contribute to continuous production improvements.
Essential Functions: Ensure proper GMPs are applied throughout the workday.

This role ensures that equipment is properly configured and maintained to support efficient and high-quality production.
Maintain flexibility and ready status in order to meet changes and demands of production support needs.

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to set up and troubleshoot production machinery.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
Physical ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
0-2 years of experience in equipment setup or a related production role.
Familiarity with production machinery and safety standards.
The employee is required to type, file, and occasionally lift office supplies up to 50 pounds.
The employee must be physically able to tolerate the scent of essential oils worn or diffused.
Basic understanding of production processes and equipment maintenance.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in equipment setup or maintenance.
Training in mechanical systems or a related field.
Forklift certification or experience with heavy machinery is a plus.

Employees are also expected to work at least one non-convention farm event a year and to work at the annual company convention.
