About the role

  • Summary: The EPSU (Equipment Set-Up Preparation) Production Worker is responsible for setting up, operating, and preparing production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • The worker will follow safety standards, troubleshoot equipment issues, and contribute to continuous production improvements.
  • Essential Functions: Ensure proper GMPs are applied throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

  • This role ensures that equipment is properly configured and maintained to support efficient and high-quality production.
  • Maintain flexibility and ready status in order to meet changes and demands of production support needs.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to set up and troubleshoot production machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Physical ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • 0-2 years of experience in equipment setup or a related production role.
  • Familiarity with production machinery and safety standards.
  • The employee is required to type, file, and occasionally lift office supplies up to 50 pounds.
  • The employee must be physically able to tolerate the scent of essential oils worn or diffused.
  • Basic understanding of production processes and equipment maintenance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in equipment setup or maintenance.
  • Training in mechanical systems or a related field.
  • Forklift certification or experience with heavy machinery is a plus.

  • Employees are also expected to work at least one non-convention farm event a year and to work at the annual company convention.
