About the role

- DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES In this position, you will: Split time and responsibilities between field assignments and office assignments.
Responsibilities
- Lead portions of technical project work from project scope through final deliverables under the direction of senior staff.
- Plan, perform and oversee geotechnical engineering investigations, technical evaluations, data summarization, and design.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed documentation of activities both in the field and during data evaluation.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must be proficient at writing technical reports to meet project requirements.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Plaxis 3D, FLAC 3D, and/or relevant geotechnical analysis software.
Skills
- CA Professional Engineering license or planning to obtain professional license within 6 months.
- Nuclear Density Guage Certification.
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training and refresher updates.
- Specialized software applications relevant to geotechnical engineering.
