About the role

  • This person does not need specialized experience in strategy, but should be capable of producing strong first drafts, coordinating projects, managing requests, and moving work forward efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of marketing and communications projects across multiple teams and initiatives
  • Develop first drafts of marketing copy, toolkits, presentations, and support materials
  • Adapt and work within existing design templates and brand systems
  • Support miscellaneous marketing and communications needs as priorities shift
  • The Phoenix is seeking a highly organized marketing coordinator to support day-to-day execution across a variety of marketing and communications initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, project coordination, or related roles (internships count!)
  • Comfort managing overlapping priorities and requests
  • Experience working within brand templates and lightweight creative systems (i.e., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, PPT/Slides/Keynote)
  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in fast-moving environments
  • Experience supporting nonprofit, community, events, or mission-driven organizations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Work in our Boston office (54 Newmarket Square) approximately one day a week
  • Lived experience as a peer in recovery
  • Familiarity with marketing asset coordination and cross-functional project support
  • Content capture and/or social media skills/experience

Compensation

  • $26.25 - $28.27 USD
