About the role
- This person does not need specialized experience in strategy, but should be capable of producing strong first drafts, coordinating projects, managing requests, and moving work forward efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Support execution of marketing and communications projects across multiple teams and initiatives
- Develop first drafts of marketing copy, toolkits, presentations, and support materials
- Adapt and work within existing design templates and brand systems
- Support miscellaneous marketing and communications needs as priorities shift
- The Phoenix is seeking a highly organized marketing coordinator to support day-to-day execution across a variety of marketing and communications initiatives.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, project coordination, or related roles (internships count!)
- Comfort managing overlapping priorities and requests
- Experience working within brand templates and lightweight creative systems (i.e., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, PPT/Slides/Keynote)
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in fast-moving environments
- Experience supporting nonprofit, community, events, or mission-driven organizations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Work in our Boston office (54 Newmarket Square) approximately one day a week
- Lived experience as a peer in recovery
- Familiarity with marketing asset coordination and cross-functional project support
- Content capture and/or social media skills/experience

Compensation
- $26.25 - $28.27 USD
