About the role

  • $30.00/hour Factors which may affect starting pay may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
  • Have you mastered advanced automotive and truck repair and take pride in diagnosing and fixing complex issues the right way the first time?
  • This includes diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, exhaust systems, brakes, electrical systems, air conditioning, and onboard computer systems.

Responsibilities

  • You will perform standard and complex mechanical repairs, including warranty work, on a fleet of newer cargo vans and box trucks with minimal technical supervision.
  • By keeping vehicles operating safely and efficiently, your work directly reduces downtime, supports fleet availability, and ensures a reliable customer experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive or truck repair experience
  • Current ASE certifications (minimum of 3), with the ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year
  • Must have a complete set of tools required for automotive and truck repair and maintenance
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel frequently, enter, exit and drive vehicles
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
  • You may also be required to drive Budget Trucks on public roads for testing, repair verification, or transport needs.
