About the role

These roles are ideal for experienced investigators seeking flexible, as-needed work.

Maintain client relationships and provide ongoing communication, insights, and updates.
Document scenes through photography, measurements, and detailed observations.
Collaborate with claims adjusters, examiners, appraisers, and managers to provide updates and recommendations.
Perform quality control on reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and proper formatting.

10 or more years of investigative experience in regulatory, workplace, insurance claims, and theft investigations.
Experience in law enforcement is an asset.
Knowledge of all levels of the Canadian court system, criminal and civil code in Canada, insurance law, privacy legislation, and evidence collection.
A strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially with Word and Excel.
Demonstrated ability to handle difficult conversations and confrontational situations with professionalism, tact, and sound judgment.
Strong ability to interpret and apply legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures in the conduct of investigations.
An ability to work under pressure to meet demanding timelines while maintaining focus on the task at hand.
Attend court or legal proceedings as required.
Candidates must reside in Alberta and be available to travel throughout the province as required to support investigative assignments.
