- The Linux Systems Engineer III leads the design, installation, operation, support, upgrades, and maintenance of infrastructure, including software, servers, networking and storage.
- Administers, maintains, and supports complex and critical infrastructure in a Linux VMWare and Windows server environment.

Requirements
- Professional full-time experience with Linux based enterprise systems and applications.
Nice to have
- Five years professional full-time experience with application system support and implementation in a medium to large computing environment.
- Professional full-time experience with enterprise systems and applications and current versions of Windows Server/Linux or other enterprise services.

- Proven ability to think strategically and approach challenges with creativity
- Demonstrated track record of reliability, meeting goals, and holding oneself accountable
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working effectively across teams
- Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g. Systems, Protocols, Directory Services).
- Knowledge and proficiency with relevant business systems, operating systems, and servers.
- Knowledge of and ability to administer local and cloud based applications (SaaS) such as Azure/AWS or Office 365.
- Skill in shell scripting/PowerShell/Bash scripting, project management of large initiatives, and troubleshooting.
- Skill in managing servers and storage hardware.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present effectively to small and large groups.
- Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments.
