About the role
- Maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion is a fundamental requirement of this position.
- This position reports to the Senior Human Resources Manager and the current in-office requirement is a minimum of 3 days per week.
- Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered for the position in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act.
Requirements
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with high levels of diplomacy and discretion.
Nice to have
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively with others in a cooperative, enthusiastic and friendly manner to accomplish position functions and participate in team efforts
- Provide overall proactive, professional and detailed service to both internal and external contacts
- Bachelor's degree or Legal Secretary Certificate preferred but not required.
- 5+ years of litigation experience in BigLaw, including deep knowledge of State and Federal court rules and civil procedures.
- Proven expertise in electronic filing (e-filing) across various jurisdictions.
- Experience in IP litigation and trial preparation is highly desirable.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and DocuSign.
- Experience using dictation and transcription software.
- Accurate typing speed of 50-80 wpm.

Compensation
- California Pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skillset and experience $100,000-$125,000.
