Responsibilities

  • Shoreline Christian School is searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic Varsity Track & Field Coach to lead and develop its track & field program during the spring season.
  • Maintain WIAA eligibility Plan, organize, and hold practices and competitions throughout the season.
  • Supervise and support student athletes in a manner that promotes personal growth, accountability, and sportsmanship.
  • Maintain compliance with all league, district, and school rules.
  • Manage the team's Athletic.net account, including roster, meet registrations, results reporting, and season updates.
  • Collaborate with the athletic department to support the success of the track & field program.

Requirements

  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, school staff, and community members.
  • Knowledge of track & field training principles, meet procedures, and athlete safety practices.
  • Participation in preseason planning and required athletic department meetings.

  • Essential Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight for all aspects of the varsity track & field program, including athlete development, team culture, and program management.

  • Model and cultivate strong sportsmanship and respect at all times.
  • Previous coaching and/or competitive running experience preferred.
