Responsibilities
- Demonstrates an awareness, appreciation and respect for diverse cultures and individual differences of clients and fellow employees; identifies culturally relevant issues and implements communications in a manner appropriate to them.
- Reports immediately any suspected incidents of child abuse or neglect to his/her immediate supervisor and the Child Abuse Hotline and document the incident before the end of the shift.
Requirements
- This includes the glucometer and required documentation.
- Assures that staff completed all required documentation.
- Make sure staff are aware that call ins must be done 4 hours before start of shift.
- When completing rounds the following areas must be reviewed: Rounds are being completed by both the RN and MHT.
- Current CPR or obtain in orientation and Hospital de-escalation program must be attained upon orientation.
- Must have basic teaching or training skills preferred; Must be able to understand apply applicable standards and regulations (e.g. TJC, HCFA,Title 22).
Nice to have
- Current RN license to practice in the State of TX required, BSN preferred.

Compensation
- Completes annual nursing competencies for RN and Clinical Supervisor.
- Provide input for annual staff evaluations.
