About the role
- DynaTen is seeking a Mechanical Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team.
- This essential role is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, tools, and facility systems at DynaTen.
- The technician plays a critical role in ensuring the facility operates efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, welding, prefabrication, and facility equipment
- Maintain electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems supporting fabrication, warehouse, and office operations
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment including lighting, ice machines, kitchen equipment, and other building systems
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers for parts procurement, repairs, and maintenance support
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment histories, work orders, and preventive maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with shop supervisors and production teams to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency
- Support facility upkeep and routine maintenance activities
- Maintain facility equipment and infrastructure in a safe, reliable, and operational condition to support business objectives
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, or facility maintenance experience required
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and facility maintenance practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and equipment documentation
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance diagnostic equipment
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety requirements
- Basic mathematical, reading, and English language skills required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing priorities and workload.
