About the role

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager to join our tax team.
  • This role reports to the Director, Income Tax.
  • Assist external consultants with the timely preparation and filing of statutory financial statements in foreign jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will manage the company's federal, state, and international income tax compliance, accounting for income taxes (ASC 740), and tax planning initiatives.
  • Manage the preparation and timely filing of all federal, state, and international tax returns.
  • Manage tax calendars, estimated payments, extensions, and ensure timely, accurate filings across all jurisdictions.
  • Identify and implement tax planning strategies to effectively manage the company's tax exposure and optimize cash flow.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of senior tax associates, fostering a high-performance environment.
  • Review and improve internal tax processes and technology to drive efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, and a
  • Minimum of 5 years of corporate tax experience.
  • Experience with SEC public company reporting.
  • Experience with foreign income tax provisions

Nice to have

  • A master's degree and CPA license are preferred.

Compensation

  • Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $115,000 -$140,000 + Bonus.
  • Compensation to be determined by the applicant's knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
  • Manage the quarterly and annual income tax provision (ASC 740), including calculating current and deferred income taxes, ETR reconciliation, and ensuring appropriate documentation for financial statement disclosures.
