- High school diploma or equivalent
- No professional certifications required
- Professional telephone etiquette
- Ability to work with diverse people and deal effectively with disgruntled callers
- Consistent high-quality performance related to scheduling and call handling (internal candidates)

- Interviewing and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team
- Excellent organizational skills
- Coordinates complex appointment scheduling for physicians and self-referrals, using intricate scheduling tools.
