About the role

  • Renesas Palm Bay Operations team is looking for a Burn-in Technician. In this position, the successful candidate will perform a variety of manufacturing duties, i.e., using measurement equipment to perform functionality testing of burn-in boards and test sockets, loading test units onto burn-in boards, loading and unloading board ovens, data logging and
  • Candidate will need to read schematics and debug and complete minor repairs on Burn-in boards. Candidate must be knowledgeable on electronic measurements such as voltage, current, capacitance and be able to use equipment such as VOM meter, Oscilloscope and Power supplies.

Requirements

  • 2-year Technical School degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working with work teams
  • This is an ITAR role - the candidate must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Person.

  • Candidate will be required to work in a clean room environment, including wearing clean room garments and ground strap.
  • Candidates with previous manufacturing experience and multi-tasking is a plus.
  • This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret written instructions.
  • Once trained, the candidate, will be required to work independently and meet quality and productivity expectations.
  • This opportunity is on a five-day work week schedule Monday - Friday, hours 6:45AM till 3:15PM.
