About the role
- You will identify the highest-value product bets, clarify tradeoffs, and ensure Nuro's roadmap is grounded in customer needs, technical feasibility, operational readiness, and business impact.
- You will understand what can be built, where constraints exist, what tradeoffs matter, and how product decisions affect autonomy performance, scalability, safety, and deployment readiness.
- You will help define how Nuro scales autonomy across customers, markets, geographies, operating domains, and vehicle platforms.

- This is a deeply technical, customer-obsessed product leadership role for someone excited to build at the intersection of autonomy, AI, robotics, operations, partner integration, and commercial deployment.
- Own Nuro's product strategy and roadmap.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15+ years of experience in technology, product management, engineering, or related technical product leadership roles.
- 10+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex technical products.
- 5+ years of experience leading product teams or product organizations.
- Experience working closely with technical teams on complex products, platforms, infrastructure, AI/ML systems, robotics, autonomy, enterprise platforms, or similarly complex technical domains.
- You have the technical fluency to work closely with our engineering teams.
- You can translate complex technical capabilities and constraints into clear product strategy and actionable requirements.
- You can evaluate product investments based on customer impact, business value, deployment readiness, and long-term scalability.
- Deeply Technical: You have the technical fluency to work closely with our engineering teams.
- You are proactive and comfortable operating in ambiguity.
- Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience translating customer, partner, or market requirements into product strategy, technical requirements, and product roadmaps.
Nice to have
- Experience with autonomous vehicles, robotics, AI/ML, mapping, simulation, fleet operations, logistics, mobility, or other complex physical-world systems where safety is paramount.
- Strong understanding of how technical product decisions affect scalability, deployment readiness, customer adoption, and business outcomes.
- Experience operating in high-growth, fast-changing, or ambiguous environments.
