About the role

Worley Canada Construction is a leader in industrial construction in Alberta and western Canada.
Cord is seeking a Planner /Scheduler to join our project controls team either at our Alberta Home Office and/or at our project sites in Alberta.
Position Description: This position will be responsible for establishing Level 3 or 4 resource loaded P6 schedules for EPFC or Fabrication/Module Assembly and Construction projects including schedules for bids/proposal.

Create and maintain master schedules (Level 2, 3, 4 and 5) based on specific project requirements/needs based on inputs from multiple departments.
Development of the Basis of Schedule document Coordinate with Client, Hydrotest group and completions group to develop detail turnover logic Update the schedule with progress tracking information and ensure earned progress in scorecard aligns with schedule update.

Experience in a heavy industrial engineering/construction environment.
Minimum of 10 years of experience within Planning/Scheduling using P6 on Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication and Construction projects including working on Bid Proposals.
General knowledge of IT programs used in estimating and project controls.
Thorough knowledge of schedule principles in their application to projects.

Development and maintenance of resource loaded project master schedule as per the project WBS Ensure Key activities and schedule milestone dates identified in the schedule basis are captured as part of project master schedule.
Review with all stakeholders the variance analysis after every schedule update and address those as part of the shift report narrative.
