About the role

This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, detail-oriented setting and are looking to gain hands-on experience in logistics, inventory, and sample handling.

The Production Assistant works closely with lab and logistics teams to support the timely and accurate handling of environmental samples and supplies.

To be eligible to work at ALS you must be a Citizen or Permanent Resident of the country you are applying for, or either hold or be able to obtain, a valid working visa.
Comfortable wearing PPE such as gloves, dust masks, and other safety gear when required

Strong English communication skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing)
Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) at a basic level
Basic computer literacy for data entry and tracking
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced, repetitive environment
Good organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines (e.g., Turnaround Times and holding requirements)
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others
Client-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and efficiency
