About the role
- SOSi is on the hunt for a Senior Network Administrator to join our elite team at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam in Honolulu, HI.

Responsibilities
- In this pivotal role, you'll ensure secure, compliant, and resilient network operations that support mission-critical communications across the Pacific theater.
- As a Senior Network Administrator at SOSi, you will work within the Network Operations team to provide essential support within the Area-of-Responsibility (AOR).
- Provides essential support in the maintenance of VDI environments, ensuring efficient and secure user access.
- Acts as the primary point of contact (POC) for the project management team in support of the installation, configuration, and implementation of network equipment for new projects and requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Networking, or similar, and 4 years of related experience or 8+ years of experience in network administration.
- Expertise in Cisco routers, switches, ASA, Palo Alto firewalls, CSfC, Taclane encryption methods, VDI environments, Cross-Domain Solutions, CUCM, and VTCs.
- Knowledge of network security best practices and compliance standards including government Secure Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot network issues.
Nice to have
- Relevant IT certifications, particularly related to Cisco and network security (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, ITIL).
- Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) protocols and procedures.
- Experience with virtual infrastructure, VDI/thin-client, and VoIP deployments.
- Knowledge of Forcepoint, Juniper, and other network technologies.
- Proficient in Help Desk and software applications (Jira, Service Now, Remedy).
- Awareness of Command and Control (C2) applications.
- Experience in ITIL framework and best practices (e.g., Change Management, Configuration Management, Incident Management, Capacity Planning)
- Customer-service oriented with a willingness to participate and assist.
Compensation
- $92,550 to $112,290.
