About the role

  • The Summer Pest Control Technician role is a full-time seasonal position beginning in April/May 2026 and concluding around late August.
  • This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in providing great customer experiences, and want to be part of a team making a visible difference in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional pest control services using GPM-approved treatment methods, tools, and safety practices.
  • Maintain a positive brand presence at the door, in driveways, and in neighborhoods.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team and dispatch for updates and scheduling support.
  • Professionalism: You maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance and conduct yourself with integrity in homes and neighborhoods.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older by start date.
  • No prior pest control experience required- full training provided.

Skills

  • Operate service vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly (equipment up to 30 lbs).
  • Treat interior and exterior residential for a variety of seasonal pests including ants, spiders, wasps, and rodents.
  • Follow assigned daily routes and service schedules with timeliness and professionalism.
  • Complete service documentation and treatment logs via mobile app or tablet.
  • Uphold safety protocols, legal regulations, and company policies at all times.

Compensation

  • You follow instructions, notice inconsistencies, and ensure treatments are thorough and safe.
  • Minimum Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older by start date.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Clear background check and drug screening.
  • Available full-time from April/May through late August.
  • Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods.
